All of them sound cool, but i can't decide which one to be.

I have narrowed it down to either, an invoker, a necromancer or an abjurer. Please help, as i want to get this game under way.

The necromancer is very useful, deathspell, finger of death etc and you can live without illusion spells.

Since your name is Deathmaster, I'd go for the Necromancer...they have some nice spells, but they make me think of undeads and I hate undeads!
Evocation is nice too; I realy like web and stinking cloud or spells like that.
I would be a Master of None, like the Sorcerer

Playing as a necromancer theres nothing better than summoning 5 skeleton warriors as your body guards, and casting fingers of death left, right and center.

An abjurer however gets the best spell in the game in my opinion, Inprisonment which however is way overpowered. Just walk over to someone, cast imprisonment, which strangely has a very short casting time, and your enemy just vanishes from the game.

I like Invokers.

"This is an unsanctioned use of Magical Energy!"

Muhuhahahah!

On a side note, there opposite school is enchantment/charm and the only major lose I've had so far is Greater Malison. I just like to play a Gorion type mage, hurling offensive spells like crazy.

I agree with most people. The necromancer is probaly the best type because most illusion spells suck. Slightly off topic, can any one think of a good one?

Mirror image and improved invisibility...for example.

the sorcerer can kick all the specilists as*'* if you know wich spells to pick and in what order that is:), but if I had to pick a specalist it would be a conjurer as his opposition school is divination wich is easily the worst of them all on a side note when it comes to offense i'm more of a fighter kind of person mainly because i dont have the time or patince or incination to spend larg chunks of time to micro manage my otherwise weak and stupid mages i killed a lich with my fighters after my mage got rid of its protections although a mage can be just as destructive as a fighter or maby even more but it just doing it with fighters is simpler and quicker then a mage, and with a few powerful items and spells there just so powerful it gets boring
-sorcerer casts 3 greater malisons on red dragon lowers resistance 4 times and uses finger of death or just summons a few high level creatures as a distraction casts time stop and imprisionment to make a otherwise hard battle very simple and cheesey, neat.

I f I'd choose an Abjurer it would be for spells like spell immunity(-abjuration :D) ), breach, prot. fr. evil, etc
and not for Imprisonment. It takes to long to cast it and when you've done it there is no fun in killing the creatures. and you won't be able to loot them, IIRC.
