Ok, obviously im a bit pants at this game or sommit. I cant get anywhere near killin him. I walk into the room and within bout a sec I loss 3 of my group. The only damage i seem to be able to do 2 him is with sommit with frost power, but i cant do enough damage 2 him without being killed. I'm also having trouble against those cowled wizards in the other room.
My group consists of:

HELP ME! IM GOING INSANE CAUSE OF THIS!

Uh, try casting Breach on him with Aerie and have everyone else go in there and SMACK him. If I remember correctly, the Breach should take care of Stoneskin and any other physical protections he has up. If that doesn't work, try some Pierce Magics.

You're the Wiz Slayer so be sure to have Mazzy use her Special Abiltiy, Invoke Courage (eliminates worrying about your chars getting fearful) and have Aerie give you Death Ward of some other protective spell, and you get up in Lavok's face and give him no lee-way. IIRC there is a Khelben's Warding Whip scroll and a Breach scroll in the Sphere. These will help take down Lavok's defenses. Watch for his Horrid Wiltings, spread you characters apart. Once defense is down, Valygar, Minsc, Mazzy, Aerie, and Yoshimo (spread out in a fan before his throne/platform thing, so no one area effect spell can hurt them all) can all missle the daylights out of Lavok why you get up close and personal with your favorite wizard bashing weapon.

As for the other two wizards on the other floor, summon even if its cheesy things like animal summoning, summon all you can, but not all at once. Send summoned creatures to Tolgerias he will kill them, send a couple more at him, in other words keep him busy why everyone else fans out and kills his helper. Helper will summon creatures for their side, this is not good! I've always brought the helper mage down first. Then once he is eliminated, Tolgerias will have killed your summonings and will be ready to deal with you. Once again same procedure as with Lavok.

Don't forget about using potions too.

A Dispel Magic works wonders on him so you dispel him as soon as you can, and then get in with your fighters, that wield some extra-damage-dealing weapons: Stonefire, Frostreaver (+3 Axes), Blackblood (+3 club from Trademeet), Flail of Ages. Lavok will not be able to get a spell off, because extra damage goes through the Stoneskin.

Cheers, I'll try that. Never could figure out the spells properly. Much prefer hacking the enemy into small pieces of meat.

make your party invisible before walking into his room, then you can position your fighters around and give him a lot of damage before he can act.

But Breach and Ruby ray(secret word or pierce magic, probably works as well) is the best against his defenses, if he gets them up

Beat Lavok, having a bit of a problem with the cowled wizards, but i should be able to get um in the end. Nearly defeated um. Thanks for the advice
