i have freed the actor but where abouts is the gem i need to find in that mages house in the sewers cos there is just a balcony up stairs. i can see a chest to the right of the room but i cant get to it please help

I believe the there is an alter that you need to find in the NE area of the map that has the gem. You will encounter some foes there so beware.
