Am trying desperately to find the harder BG1 patch and no luck. It doesn't appear to be available anywhere. If someone knows where I can get it, or has it and is willing to send it to me, I'd be forever grateful. Thanks!

There isn't a harder BG1 official patch only one for BG2. The unofficial mod Dark Side of the Sword Coast does make some changes to make it a little harder. You hvae to get that from TeamBG, see if it's under TeamBG in the games section.

I already have DSOTSC, team BG's forums and the website for Dark Side are where I learned about the patch. It's just not available on any website anymore, trying to find someone to email/transfer it to me. There's also something called heart of fury that does a similar thing, mentioned somewhere in the black isle forums, but I can't find that either. Thanks for the reply though.

Umm i feel you are a little confused. Heart of Fury is in the IWD series (IIRC HOW onwards) not the BG series.

Well yes, I know originally it was for Icewind, but Tioma created one for BG1 and TOTSC which I just downloaded from the website, installed and it works great. For other gamers interested in taking it up a notch......here's the link, download towards the bottom of the page
