Has anyone taken the time to find out if you get negs for night fighting. Per AD&D rules you get a -4 to your attack. I am going to test this out with Minsk when I get home, I have a helm of infravision that I am not using, which I might reconsider if you do get negs at night.

dont know about night fighting but you do get -4 when using a bow in close combat.

I dont think there are any penalties for night fighting. Would be nice though...and the blind fighting ability :)
Also, spells that illuminate would be useful...I would like to throw a light spell right on the face of a nastie, so as to blind him, as can be done in p&p :)))
