View Full Version : The Wave Arath Fri, 25th Apr '03, 2:19pm I have found the shaft, but I would love to know where the head is, I havent been able to find it yet, also the string to gesen's bow? where can i find that? Falcor Wolfbane Fri, 25th Apr '03, 2:35pm The Head is a reward in fish city after you go with saemon in spellhold, The gessen bow string is in spellhold behind this wall with monster faces on it when you find a drawing of a monster face place it on the picture and the wall wil open with that monster behind it kill them to get cool items. After you kill the umberhulk follow its cell round and you wil eventually come to a room with three clay golems and a chest(guess what) in the chest is the string but when you take it out you will be locked in the room and attacked by the golems, kill them all and you will be released from the room! I havent found the shaft where was it? Arath Fri, 25th Apr '03, 2:40pm I cant really remember, I think I found it somewhere in the sewers or the graveyard district in athkatla, but as i said, im not sure, i will check a save when i come home Djedi Fri, 25th Apr '03, 2:46pm The shaft of the wave is in the planar prison, the warden has it. Falcor Wolfbane Fri, 25th Apr '03, 2:49pm I know about the planar sphere but where is the planar prision? trillex Fri, 25th Apr '03, 3:05pm It's a quest for Haer'Dalis and his gang of bards. You'll get it if you have Aerie in your party, she will get a message which says that she must return to Quayle. I don't know if you can start the quest other ways. JSBB Fri, 25th Apr '03, 3:08pm Go to the basement of the Five Flagons Inn in the bridge district after you have rescued Haer'Dalis and recovered the portal gem. LKD Fri, 25th Apr '03, 5:24pm One important thing to remember about the Planar Prison quest is that you can talk to the female leader of the troupe before rescuing Haer'Dalis (I think that gives you some easy XP, or you can just go exploring in the sewers, kill Mekrath, and then either have Haer'Dalis join you or do as he asks and meet him and the troupe under the 5 flagons with the portal stone. Either way, you get the opportunity to enter the Planar Prison and get the Wave Shaft (among other things!) Mystra's Chosen Sat, 26th Apr '03, 7:44pm You've got to kill the Rebel Prince in order to get the Wave Blade's head. Extremist Sat, 26th Apr '03, 9:42pm Another way: pickpocket. Mystra's Chosen Tue, 29th Apr '03, 9:45am I prefer killing things. You get the XP for it... plus when I play Good it's the extermination of evil and when I play Evil it's furthering my personal gain. Here's a question... If you're lawful good which is more right? Exterminating an evil race and helping the Drow with one less enemy to fight or letting live and risking further raids on the shores of Faerun? Maldir Tue, 29th Apr '03, 10:02am It's one of those things that is probably a judgement call. Though I would say that given two possible courses of action, the most "good" would be to avoid as much killing as possible - either directly or indirectly (by leaving them in a weakened situation). Strategically I think that helping the Sahaguin (sp?) would be better, because they are a lesser threat than the Drow and would serve as a thorn in the side of the Drow. It's even possible that your actions could turn them into allies, as they could be grateful for your help. Mystra's Chosen Tue, 29th Apr '03, 10:20am It's Sahuagin. I doubt they could be allied. Their god, Sekolah, would never allow it. Anyway, as a neutral you would help them, as a neutral good you'd help them (but as a paladin you'd kill them, as a lawful good character it could depend on your class e.i., a fighter would kill them but a mage or priest would help them. It could go any way you want... pretty much like the whole game. |
