I was look through the bg files when I saw something that really weirded me out. Irenicus alignment was set to chaotic good!

And then you decided not to play BG2 for such inconsistency...

Strange... Irenicus is as evil as hell.... So I don't understand this... He had a good allignment in the past... but has fallen deep.

Do a search here on the forum. This has been discussed before. I think it has something to do with that they used the same model for Elminster and Irenicus.
But I think this has been fixed in the patch.

There are 20 or so instances of Irenicus in the game files, so if one is chaotic good it doesn't make much difference. It wouldn't even if all of them were. It's not like you can look up his alignment in the game.

Without the spell detect alignment.:)


I did the cheat once ctrl+q he joined my party and was Neutral evil...
