I've read through many, many previous posts here, but I didn't see this specific problem addressed. I am in Chapter 6, gathering help to fight Bodhi. My oldest save is in Small Teeth Pass, just after Jaheira leaves for the Harper Hold in Athkatla, after being summoned by Dermin Courtierdale. The save I am working with is in the Docks District, just before picking up Jaheira again. Here's my problem: After re-enlisting Jaheira, she says, "We'll talk later," but does not initiate dialogue again, and the romance seems to be de-activated when I go to the Graveyard District to face Bodhi. The walkthroughs I've read say that the player's romantic interest (Jaheira is my character's romantic interest, I believe - I've had all of the conversations in which she tries to ask whether or not my character enjoys violence, and all that, and I've gotten the locket, done the Harper Plot, etc.) should be captured and killed by Bodhi. This does not happen, and Jaheira continues to remain silent. Do I need to wait for another conversation before heading to the Graveyard District in order for Jaheira to officially become a love interest, and be taken away? If so, how do I trigger it? I've overwritten the original Jaheira romance files in the Override directory with the JaheiraRomance&HarperPlot fix from this site. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry man, those are UNOFFICIAL fixes and I presume noone have the slightest idea what they do and how they do.

If you are facing Bodhi for the second time (which I guess you are as you mention the tooth pass place) and Dermin has only just appeared to take Jaheira away then:

- I think it might just be that you have not progressed far enough in the romance for the Bodhi lover stealing exploit. Basically, there is a rating that shows how far the romance has progressed (based on succesful dialogues and such). For Jaheira the romance is a completed success when this rating reaches about 70. I think the Dermin thing happens at about 50 (working from memory). Basically, the Jaheira romance is very s l o w. Many people just move too quickly through the game to hit it off with Jaheira :(.

- there is another variable that shows if the romance is ready to start, active or finished. You could check this to see if you have definately killed the romance (it will be set to 3). You might also be able to restart it by setting it to 2 (can't promise anything). Though so late in the game it probably won't work.

- Finally, it might just be that you are in a long pause between dialogues. You can try passing real time by setting the game to pause and dissapearing for a break. You could also try resting outside (Jaheira likes her trees). You could also try using the console command that Extremist mentioned in his recent post to make real time pass instantly (the Advance time command). http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum2/HTML/003403.html

I've also sort of assumed that you know how to access the console and check the variables I've mentioned. If not, have a look at these posts (or use the search option with 'romance' 'variable' as the 'search words' and 'Slappy' on the 'search by user name.')
