Whats does everyone think is the funniest part in BG2?

I think its at the pirate king(chief) house when you are trying to get sent to spellhold and you introduce him to Minsc to show him you should be sent to Spellhold.

I really like when Edwin meets his
former girlfriend.

After all this time, my favortite NPC quote from Jan Jansen: "Ahh, home sweet home... wait, I don't live here." I enjoyed that every time I heard it. But I think my favorite interaction with someone/something was that Beholder in Sanguin(sp) city. Now that was funny.

Talking to the loonies in the asylum was lots of fun. If you haven't been there yet, or are going to play again and go back, it pays to click on them repeatedly...I especially liked Dreedel's rants....

Imo, the funniest part was in the shark-city, with the beholder; "Why do you want to know what's in the box? UHHH i know, if a beholder is gurding it, it's just got to be COOL"

Talking him out of guarding the box was even better. LOL, and he actually fell for it.

Spectator: Well, I remember that at the time he summoned me a spear was being driven through his chest. So I suppose when he yelled "Guard my chest" he could've had that one in mind.

That Beholder episode was good! I really liked the dialogue between Minsc and the kid that gives you the Umar Hills Quest!

I was ROTF during the exchange! He just cracks me up in general!

Most all of Minsc's comments are outrageously funny. Some fav's:

"Feel the burning stare of my hampster and CHANGE your evil ways!"

"I turned to shield Boo, and I lost my spell. I am NOT sorry."

"You said what you did just to get me mad!You are as smart as Boo sometimes!"

Also, how Edwin constantly says:
"Tedious monkey work"

i don't know what the exact translation is but it should go something like this:my weapon has no effect...give me a bigger sword

For me the funniest part has been when Viconia confronts Valgar on him being gay, its almost like a Monty Python sceen with the "your gay", "no I'm not" going back and forth at the end.

(in an angry tone)My weapon has no effect!
(in a wondering tone)I need a bigger sword!

Don't know if it's funnier or more annoying....but-
"Get-me-outta-this-hell-hole." Guess it was more prevalent in BG 1, but it was funny to hear again in BG2.

I forgot: I really liked uncle lester in the graveyard district.

I like it whenever you're in a city, someone in the background sound yells out "PYLE!"

The Spectator in the Shark-city is hilarious! So are those madmen in Spellhold, and also most of Edwin's dialogues tend to be rather funny. Espcially when Edwina talks to Savanas in the Copper Coronet. Really great ! :)

Ah, I vote for the Beholder in the Sahaguin city. In CRPG we should meet more often that kind of monsters that want to talk before fight.

If I was a monster and looking a strong party in front of me, I definitely wanted to be friendly with them. I always have difficults to accept those packs of goblins impaling themselves on the Holy Sword of an heavily armored Paladin... I would flee in that case, hehe, goblins are generally coward creatures :D.

Edwina rocks! ( Wait one moment...wait happened to my...oh no.No.NO!) and Minsc
when he meets Edwin...or when Korgan talks
about his former companions...and most
certainly uncle Lester. Or those orcs and hobgoblins in the windspear hills that beg you to have mercy ("I really didn't like to kick those old people!") and the werewolves.

bad fur day!) Or Cyrando the gnome...or Minsc's reaction the sigil troupe teatre...
If you wonder why it seems I have Minsc and Korgan in the same party that is because my first try with the game (where I played good) didn't work and I blew it off the harddisk. Thank god for that patch.
