Ok picked up the cleric in the copper coronet cause I was one down with Nalia's disappearance(not gonna say how :p ). When I got Nalia back in the party, dropped Yoshimo cause I was in the middle of a side quest with Amonen(sp?). Told Yoshimo to meet me back at the Copper Coronet, but he is either hiding to lied to me, cause I sure as heck cant find him, and level 5 thief Nalia is not cutting the mustard..

In my game, Yoshi is just up at the front in the middle. Just in front of the big fire pits I believe.

If you couldn't find Yoshi and want a better theif, grab Jan. He's got high open locks, find traps and pick pocket, but he's lacking in the stealth department.

There seems to be a kind of "death counter" on Yoshi at some time in the game.

I had him wait in the tavern, and he stayed there as often as I looked, but after I returned from the Underdark, he was lying dead on the floor (recognizable from all the nice equipment that was still on the corpse. Figures - all I wanted from him were a few things for Imoen anyway...)

I guess if he's not in your party and you don't do the Yoshi-specific shadow thief quest at some point he's bound to be assasinated.

He has a geas cast upon him by Irenicus. If he does not bring/escort you to the asylum, he dies. OTH, doing it doesn't work out to well for him in the end either. If you DO take him, it is worth 200,000exp after you get back and perform a trivial task.
