What game difficulty do you play SoA at, and why? (besides the challenge)

If you played the role playing game I would go with hardcore rules and up,if your just a video gamer stay with the startup.

I play core but next game I'm going up a notch, no doubt about it.

Core. Although, I do admit that I go down a difficulty notch when leveling up a lv9 and below character.... :D :D

I play Core rules. I like it to be fair for me and the enemy. If it was to be harder, there should have been smarter enemies.

Insane.

When I first started the game I played on normal, after playing through half of chapter two I restarted on core, after reaching Spellhold I restarted again, and since then it's been insane for me.

Reasons? Up till now I have "powergamed" my games, so any other difficulty was just plain boring.

My next run through I plan to roleplay a party of two fighters and one fighter/thief, so I'll probably have to turn down the difficulty to survive.

Core for me. Good enough for PnP, good enough for me.

First time through I played on normal, now I usually play on core. However, I usually make a save before any of the larger plot related battles so that if I think it went too easily I save it and then reload my save just before the battle. Switch difficulty to hard or insane and then have some fun :) Switch back afterwards.

Core most of the times. I tried insane ones. It was pretty fun. Challenging.
I also tried easy once. And that was also pretty fun, acctually. It got sooo easy :D

core, but i turn it up to hard when doing irenicus' place, cos it is so damn easy!

core for me tried insane once and got my mage c killed by a gob(dang arrows of biting)
