Hello everyone. I live in Asia and I play an English version of BG2. So my question is.. should I apply the English patch to my game, or the International patch?

ummph.. Does it really matter that much wich one you pick? I don´t know. Try the international patch, and if it doesn´t work - try the english :)

The thing is I applied the international.

Then I noticed that the file sizes between the 2 are 3 MB.. perhaps I'm missing something because I applied the wrong patch?

Would appreciate it if someone can answer this.. and yes, the game does work fine.

Depends where you got the game from...
The English patch is for all the versions of the game that use English language. International is for all others.
As for the patch size, I never got to the bottom of that one. Logically the international one should be bigger than the English one because it containts fixes for many more versions (languages) of the game. This has been the case with all Bioware/BIS patches to date.

So I'm guessing that later some bug fixes must have been made to other versions of the game except English (since these get released later), and therefor the patch doesn't contain them again.
