is Minsc a better ranger then a fighter? Right now my main character is a Dwarf Beserker and he's strong. but Minsc seems to be very powerful in fighthing.

also. My Dwarf walks SUPER FAST, faster then any of my group when i walk with him, is their a reason why it seems haste is on him all the time? it doesn't show in his Attribs. or effects.

I know Barbarians are "faster" due to their faster movement rate over all other classes, one of the perks of being a Barbarian. Perhaps this is the same deal with being a Berserker, as a Barbarian has the ability to Berserk one reason he may be "quicker"?

It 'appears' that movement rates and factors were added to BG2 in some ways. It's almost like the older AD&D Computer RPG's were armor, class, etc changed the movement rates. I'm playing a Monk now who's class starts off at +2 movement rate and then gets a +1move/5lvls! Right now he's 1 to 2 movement rates away from the Boots of Speed that I have MINSC wearing.

You may want to read up on the Kit Descriptions found on the Character Record sheet in the game (the BG2 manual is bleak, and omits major abilities of the classes). There it may shed more light on your Dwarf.
