How on earth do you kill Bodhi?
I've placed holy water in all the vampires blood pools and killed all the other vampires (wooden stakes in the coffins).
I can get Bodhi down to nearly dead status but even when I continually hit her (even doing 20pts damage +) she doesnt die.
I must be missing something here- what I have not done?

never had this problem, my main character usually fights here with negative plane cast on him (and if not my main usually minsc or korgon) anyway i kill all the rest of the guys in the room the bombard bohdi with everyone and every thing i got... lower resistance breach, secret word (4th level spell takes away 1 protection spell) but she usually falls before i finish casting that one.

I wonder if its the way I've gone through the game.
I'm now on Chapter 6 and have to retrieve a Lantern for the Elves from Bodhi.
I know on previous chapters you have a option to either back the thieves guild against Bodhi or back Bodhi (ie the vampires) against the thieves. I originally went with Bodhi and wiped the thieves guild out.
I know you can kill Bodhi earlier in the game-possibly chapter 3.
Any further thoughts?

I did that, and he cleared out the last room with Bohdi and all the other vampires in it. I didn't need to use the holy water or even lift a finger down on the bottom level.

That's a 'unique' problem, perhaps you may wish to try a spell or something that can hurt Bohdi. Like 'holy bolt' or the like. I would try any avenue, like a more powerful magic weapon (+4 or +5) and see if that works. If you 'team up' with Drizzt or the Paladin's in the Radiant Heart they'll take the 'killing' blow when fighting Bohdi and rob you of 91,000XP -at least that's what happened to me first time thru BG2.

I'm definately hurting Bodhi with my hits.
With 'protection against undead' cast I can literally stand beside her and continually hit her over and over again.
I can stand there until the protection spell runs out but she doesnt die!
She stays at the 'just about to die' status.
I can go out of the room, make a cup of tea and come back in with my paladin still hitting her! I'm sure I must have missed something. I havn't recruited Drizzt-I met him earlier and he walked off.
Any clues?

It may be another bug. Try from an earlier save and it may work, i use that method when some triggered event doesent take place, and that happens often.....

I'm having the exact same problem with killing Irenicus! It's driving me crazy! The last battle of the game and he's just standing there with his arms crossed doing nothing. In a couple rounds he's down to "Near Death" then nothing. No more damage taken. It may have something to do with the fact that I killed Bohdi in bat form by mistake (that damned Silver Sword!) and I had to use Shadow Keeper to give myself the items that were supposed to be on her body. Have you used Shadow Keeper for anything?

Aha, I didn't realize you were using the 'Protection from Undead Scroll'. Just so that you know, there are issues with using that scroll. There were issues in Ice Wind Dale with this problem and they 'carried' over to BG2.

The intent of the scroll is to (basically) make your character totally unnoticeable by any undead. -which is the problem itself. Certain dialogue must be 'triggered' or 'engaged' in order for the game to continue correctly when encountering Liches, Bohdi and the like. You may have to reload a game that is before you entered the crypt area (or just before your fight with Bohdi) and 'redo' the quest without the Scroll. -Bummer, yes but you may wish to use 'alternate' protection spells/scrolls.
