There are a number of characters who will give you extra character points. You can also get more points by specialising in a class or using tattoos (temporarily).

Anyway, I sent herf all about it, so wait until he sends a newer version to Tal.

just have high wisdom, 18 at the start and keep building it with tattoos, then you will gain one char point each time you level up

No matter your wits, you get one spare stat point at each level up if it is the highest level you gained (i.e. no point if you got on level 5 mage, but before you reached level 8 as fighter).

At start of the game it's not very necessary to have WIS higher than 16.

I have played the game for a week solid before and got nowhere near to completing. But i did manage to get 25 in every ability!

*sigh*

I didn't say that it is impossible to get 25 on all stats (UnderSigil: the boost area!).

But is it necessary? No.
