One of the skulls in Lothar's home used to be an anarchist, and tells you how to get his stash in Curst if you're an anarchist yourself.

Can anybody tell me what items you get there?

What stash in Curst? Where exactly?

You get everything in Curst being Anarchist or not.
The skull probably speaks of Ancient Scroll - the scroll that fulfills one your wish (or more due to a bug).

No, it's not that.

There's a person in Curst, I believe in, or close to, the warehouse, who's supposed to give you some stuff if you tell him the skull sent you.
I'm sorry I'm not more precise, but it's been a long time since I played the game. I only found out about it after I had already returned to Sigil, since I didn't do the factions quests until then, and I also hadn't realised you could talk to the various skulls in Lothar's house.

I'm positive there is no such person. At least it never happened to me although I talked to all skulls (and skipped their ranting ;))

However, I don't have the game installed to check it again.

From Dan Simpson's Torment FAQ v1.06:

"Also, you can talk to four of the skulls on the huge shelves in Lothar's laboratory. Two of them warn you about Mantuok and the Pestilential Grimoire, one claims to have hidden some stuff near Carceri but won't say where,[...]"

That's the one I'm talking about. If you're a member of the anarchist faction, he tells you to talk to a certain person in Curst to get his stuff. And I seem to recall, very faintly though, that there *was* some guy in Curst who there was no point talking to, since he only said you shouldn't bother him at his work, or something to that effect.
[Edit: I found the guy; the merchant in the warehouse, pre-Carceri. Now I only need to know what you get from him.]

Well, that's the problem, neither have I. I've lent it to a friend who I finally managed to convince to play it, and now I'm itching to replay it myself...
Figures.

Are there any other active PS:T boards with knowledgeable people on them around?
This is the only one I found.

Dan Simpson's FAQ/walkthrough IMHO sux. All others here find it great. It lacks details, my man!

There is no place on the whole net you can possibly find so good covering of PT like here.

I'll reinstall the game in next couple of days and check it just for you.
