I have been through the entire Rubicon hard (i think) now and i havent found the wizard. I have Nordom and ive got plenty of glasses to him but i cant find the wizard. Do i need to kill ALL the threats? Some of them i just ran past. Is there something i have to do before i can find the wiz?

No i don't think you need to do anything special,
have you tried the most northeastern room?
That was there i found him.

Rubikon gets passages between rooms on random. So Nordom and Wizard are never in the same spot.

You haven't explored whole hard set. I suggest you to draw a map (it is not so hard - you just place a box near a box and connect them with a line where passage exists). And BTW: entrance to Wizard's lair ALWAYS leads north.

Im stuck here too, does "north" means NE or NW?

North, as in the top of the screen.

As Extremist said, map it out, it was the only way I didn't wind up running in circles.

Find the operating room, set it to hard difficulty. Only then can you find the evil wizard and Nordom.
