In a similar vein to 'Fave NPCS' - what's everyone's favourite spell in PS:T? I'm not just talking about the ludicrously powerful ones like Rune Of Torment and Celestial Host, but the ones you find yourself coming back to time and time again. Mine has to be Ball Lightning - it has a tendancy to become very useful at higher levels, especially when cast simultaniously by NO and Dak'kon...

Force Wave or something... The dark blue/purplish coloured multi-cast spell the end boss likes to cast.

With it you don't need skyhigh CHR to get the most from the game (except in Ravel's case, but that's only one point in the game "Friends" won't provide you the max benification).

Fists of Iron, and Balance of One. I loved my mage to just wade into a fight and start pulverizing. I didn't like most of the higher level "one shot" big damage spells that most of the importatnt enemies resist most of the damage out of anyway.

Hmm... I don't think I ever learned what it was for... do you simply cast it, then wait for ages while it 'powers up', or is it something completely different?

No, you have to be a certain level for it to do something. When you're high enough, it conjures a ballista you can fire multiple times.

Oh, right. Well in that case, I did manage to release its full potential. Had to say I never used it much, though...

Another good one I used a lot - Blacksphere.
