Moth
Raw emotion.
Waters path follows my cheekbones . Clean like the hidden spring.
I'm a coward to not confront my feelings. This moth that bangs itself to unconsciousness against a lightbulb in the night.
I'll stretch the canvas until it tears at its weak point. There is more meaning with its rips mended and visable with a clumsy thread. I don't care if society likes perfection and matching frames.
And words are the other acrylic. Some areas transluscent to show the layers underneath where I have rubbed and scratched and sanded to get at the truth. I know that if you shined a florescent light on me in a dark room all my wounds would show.
Hunger
comes and goes
It's easier to forget if you don't think about it. Cover it over in a layer of paint and a layer of words. Let the dish go empty until the son eats the father. I'll paint the truth as I want to see it until the background noise gets so loud I can't ignore it. The sound of the moth thumping and falling until the light gets switched off.

Lol Gaear, I guess I shouldn't post things and take them away anyway. Kind of defeats the creative purpose. I was just worried it was too melodramatic or cliche.
So I will put it back in after that 3 day teaser
