6 Month anniversary of the breaking of the chains.
I thought I should write something to commemorate it to myself. Exactly one half a year has passed since my life has changed. At this time half a year ago there was snow on the ground and we were waiting inside a public building. Followed by spending the night at my brothers house in the country and then heading out to the bush for a week.
I don't think my sons had ever actually seen grandmas house in the winter, but they were both very happy to be there. I took some beautiful winter photographs. My youngest son and I went for some walks through the bush in the snow. My oldest son and I took the youngest and showed him a special place only we knew about. We breathed fresh air and came down from the energy of the previous days.
