A blog primarily for SP Happenings, with occasional guest appearances by other distractions. SPH is an ongoing journal, posted on a semi-frequent schedule. As the title suggests, its primary function is to detail what has been going on around Sorcerer's Place since the last journal entry, though sometimes other themes are discussed as well. I haven't written one of these blog entries in quite some time, so I guess it's long overdue...
Over the last few years I sadly haven't been very diligent in bringing most of the user-submitted downloads online in a timely fashion (with some exceptions), which has resulted in a large backlog of files in desperate need of processing. I'm working on remedying this situation at the moment, so barring any unforeseen events, you can expect a catch-up site content update in the next few days. I aim to include all direct file submissions in this update, so those of you who have submitted something a long time ago and it hasn't seen the light of day yet - sorry about that. Nothing has been lost, however, so everything should be online in a matter of days.
Afterwards, I'm planning to start working on updating a number of older downloads and sections which are out of date - another area long overdue for an overhaul. Again, many of you have pointed out areas in need of attention over the last few years and I've got a mile long list of things to go over, but if anyone feels that something should be given priority - please let me know! Otherwise I'm most likely going to do things in no particular order.
A few days ago, Beren has sent in his Wizardry 8 video walkthrough, so as soon as Montresor can prepare it for publishing, you'll be able to enjoy it. But that's not all... Beren being the usual prolific self has already started work on an Icewind Dale video walkthrough, and we've got some other big content additions planned for later this year as well.
I'm also in various stages of implementation of a few novelties, such as a replacement chatroom app (waiting on the next version with some crucial bugfixes), a forums-integrated downloads system (currently in the testing/bugfixing stage) and a major upgrade of our message board software (also pending the release of the next minor version with a bagful of badly needed bugfixes).

That's great Tal. It's always good to take care of old business if you can find the time. It makes your shoulders feel lighter.
