Marks of Chaos: #13 Wild Thing

Posted Fri, 7th May '10 at 5:35pm by 8people (8 Tales)

Before the new beasts came out I had all the plans on how I would paint my Shaman up aand make them the finest Gor in the Old World... now, however, I have hit a mild block.

With them no longer accessing the lores of Slaanesh or Nurgle, that's fine, however, I have already painted my Shaman of the lore of beasts, the new Beasties have a Lore of the Wild which has similar spells in it, trying to think how he could be differenciated from the others is a little odd.

Marks of Chaos: #12 Ungor-ious

Posted Fri, 22nd Jan '10 at 2:30pm by 8people (8 Tales)

Because of the new molding on the Ungor and Gor and the different base sizes of the Ungor now I'm going to be buying all new Ungor models, this means my old Ungor can be used as paint testing Which could be quite fun in ensuring nice schemes and that skin works properly and try new techniques without worrying overly much about ruining a model.

Looking at the new ungor (they are so adorabl btw) I'm wondering how I want to paint them, I think the Ungor will be more drab and more...

Marks of Chaos: #11 Mr Fuzzbutt

Posted Thu, 14th Jan '10 at 10:59pm by 8people (8 Tales)

Spent the day furring up leggies on my Cygor. Am quite happy with how it turned out, for my first conversion it looks like it's going well. When it's finished Kev said it can go in the cabinet at Workshop, but not sure it will turn out good enough, lol.
Spoiler!

Marks of Chaos: #10 Lurking Monstrosities

Posted Sun, 10th Jan '10 at 2:10pm by 8people (8 Tales)

I have the day with my darling today, and we're both going to have fun with Hobby, Kev has painting to do while I've turned my erstwhile attention to something big.

I bought a Giant and a Stegadon, two packs of greenstuff and have access to a corner of bitz.

I will be attempting to construct a Jabberslythe and a Cygor.

The Cygor is a minotaur/cyclops creature, tall as a giant with four enormous curled horns, a large distorted, single eye - that can see...

Marks of Chaos: #9 Beast...men.

Posted Fri, 8th Jan '10 at 11:09pm by 8people (8 Tales)

No longer Beasts of Chaos the Beastmen can no longer obtain marks of chaos!

The only skirmishers in the army are Ungor ARCHERS (zomg) and Harpies from the Dark Elf book as flying units with the option of being scouts for +3 points.

A lot of units are the same, which is awesome, Ungor are meant to be on smaller bases now but can still be used on the larger ones the same as the Gor if you'd like.

New Minoaurs look... interesting.

New Primal...
