Blue Moon

It looks like Fallout is going to get a true sequel after all -keep your fingers crossed my friends.

I mean Fallout 3 is a decent game and it becomes truly enjoyable once it's modded to the limit but it can't compare to the original Fallout. I for one am glad that it's being developed by Obsidian and not Bethesda. Hopefully it'll bring back some good old fashioned Wasteland fun.

War never changes.

Does that sound medieval to you?

Long story short, I've taken a break from DAO to enjoy some Witcher goodness and although the game is as much fun as it was the first time, I can't help thinking that it shouldn't have been labelled as a CRPG. In all fairness it's more of an adventure game (a great adventure game with hack and slash fun, dialogues and stuff) but it doesn't feature much in the way of choices. There are choices regarding turning points in the story but dialogues are just about going through all the options, sit back...

I'm really not a football fan but I'll be watching the game tomorrow in my favourite bar in Lyon.

The Champions League game Bayern Munich vs Olympique Lyonnais will be something to remember and I'm pretty sure the tension will be at its highest point tomorrow night.

I've moved to Lyon in 1998 and it's been long enough for me to fully support the local team.

My fingers are so crossed that they're blue. It's going to be very emotional. I just hope that...

There comes a time in every man's life when he realizes that he may have been wrong due to preconceived ideas, misconceptions and prejudices.

In my unrelenting quest for the worst movie ever made I've stumbled onto several veritable little gems but never in my wildest imaginings would I have pictured such a momentous event as the discovery of this movie.

For years I have been biding my time, waiting for an opportunity to see Zardoz.

The fact that it had...

Sci-fi spoofs: an underrated art form?

Posted Mon, 2nd Nov '09 at 4:33pm by Caradhras

Or is it? How does one define art and more precisely how does one define form? Is form bound to shape or is it intrinsically different from an ontological perspective?

1. Neopatriarchial objectivism and cinematical conceptualism as seen in G.O.R.A. (2004)

This cinematic narrative relates to the archetypal struggle of the individual vs society as a whole. Here the aforementioned individual...
