    I haven't actually been paying that much attention to what's happening around here. I have my eye on a few bands, which I hope will play near here soon, but I haven't really been to anything the last while. There is word that they might open a new stage right here in my home town, so I'm hoping they might attract some cool bands

    I looked up that Big Rivers R 'n B thing and they have some very nice bands playing. Magic Frankie is pretty cool, and he has a song which I think might be right up your alley. Most of his music is pretty different, more bluesy, but you might like this one. It is only a 30 sec sample, but I was pretty surprised to find it on the internet at all Hmmm, perhaps I'll have a look to see if it's possible to go to Big Rivers Thanks for the tip

I can’t go along with it. I don’t follow the mood. The enthusiasm with which some young mothers put the cute faces of their children on pictures, is not shared by me. But it is shared with me.

Consequently, and much to my dismay, I repeatedly had to face up to how an oh so droll toddler just couldn’t succeed last week at wolfing...
