How do I get the downloaded stuff to appear in game?

Hello all. I just found this site after seaching for a good TOEE helpsite. I do have some issues with the game. Just fyi I am not a computer savy individual. i have the TOEE game. what are the critical downloads i need to enjoy a fully expansive TOEE game. I have played the releasd game and an initial Co8 patch (it allows me to go past level 10) for quite some time. I would also like to add the new portraits and voices. I downloaded them from this site but when I re-booted the game they did not appear. I will say again i am not a computer savy individual so please do not assume i know the inner workings of computer code, file locations and such. thank you for your time.

Circle of Eight is a specialist forum, you might want to take any queries there. Because they wrote so much for it.
I enjoyed TEE but I never got around to the mods.
