So, quick two part question.
Part A: To get Silver Pantaloons I must take a minus 2 hit to my Fame rating. This is not a big deal right? Part B: Sadly, I don't have BG which means no Golden Pataloons. I assume there is some mod or something that can add them right? Not going to worry about it too much now but since I am not even sure I can make whatever the dank "special item" is I don't want my Rep to take a hit then I can't do some quest that gives you some godly ring. |

The pantaloons are not required for any significant part in the game. It's just an easter egg for those who played BGI, SoA, and ToB -- you either need to carry the pantaloons throughout all three games or cheat them in. I personally found the entire thing quite amusing but the items you get at the end really aren't that great by the time you get them (i.e., you already have awesome stuff and so a couple more cool things just aren't that thrilling).

Oh no ! The evil Baldur's Gate 2 turned poor Heisenberg into a metagamer.
I recommend just throwing those pantaloons away. No need to suffer from even more equipment to take care for. If you want to see the easter egg just cheat them in. |

I notice that nobody bothered to mention how to cheat them in.
For reference, and it is case sensitive CLUAConsole:CreateItem("ITEMCODE",quantity) For items with charges or uses per day, it is CLUAConsole:CreateItem("ITEMCODE",charge1,charge2, charge3) Codes for the pantaloons MISC47 - Golden Pantaloons MISC5O - Silver Pantaloons MISCCB - Bronze Pantalettes (Throne of Bhaal) |
