[IMG]Nathan of Next Powerup published a new article with his opinion on BioWare points.

After having decided to visit a couple of the Mass Effect series of games again, I noticed I had pretty much all of the DLC. Back when I bought the three games, they were mostly in sales, although when ME3 came out, I had it down for pre-order. I really liked the series. As I recall, I bought the first two games during steam sales, and then paid the then MSRP price for Mass Effect 3 on launch day, which was probably around £35-40 for me. Not too bad, I enjoyed the style of the game, and it didn't bother me too much.

Back then, which is probably the best part of 2011 or 2012, all that DLC couldn't be bought with money, but with Bioware points. This was back in the day when Games for Windows Live was a thing, and a lot of companies (mainly the big three) were nickel and diming DLC. They weren't just doing it with DLC though, they made you buy obscure quantities of points in order to buy that DLC. That was OK though, I bought Bioware points whenever they went on sale, turns out that doesn't happen very often these days.
