Doesn't EE have the same bastard swords as the original game? If so there's a few good ones:

Jhor the Bleeder -- it's +2 but gives damage for an addition five rounds and is excellent against mages (the bleeding damage disrupts their spells)

Blade of Searing -- +3 and gives +1 fire damage, not great but not bad

Foebane (ToB) -- starts as a +3 and upgrades to +5. It's +6 against undead, shapeshifters and extra-planar creatures

Purifier (ToB) -- starts as +4 and upgrades to +5. This is basically Carsomyr Light.

A paladin dual wielding Purifier and Foebane is quite potent.

Foebane upgraded is great. It casts Larloch's Minor Drain on each hit, giving you extra temporary hitpoints and healing you quite a lot.

Yes it has all the ones in the vanilla ToB. I'm just curious if there are any NEW ones added in that would be worth mentioning. :p

according to the list on beamdog's forum there's not any new bastard swords added to the game, a quick glance at the items in EEkeeper however, shows that 1 new bastard sword was added, namely the brass blade+5. no idea how/if this is available in the game through legitimate means though. :

one bastard sword that was allready in the original game, but cannot be found anywhere is taragath. you can cheat it in, as well as obtain it legitimately through a mod (unfinished business) but it's not too great anyway :

bastard swords on the whole always made me sad due to their relatively lackluster performance versus other weapon types. I like the idea of using one but finding a magical one is not as common as I like and it is hard to find actual good ones.

well, from what I've been able to find, the brass blade isn't available in-game from a drop, container or quest, but if it was or if you cheat it in, it might actually be the best weapon available flat damage wise, 2d4 +5 +10 fire damagefor 17-23 points of damage with an average of 20, even better then the staff of the ram +5, which is 2-handed. :p
