[IMG] I've downloaded House on Gryphon Hill, and am just browsing through, but already I must say it is very interesting!

It is one of the more unique adventures I've ever read (so far only a handful) and I must say I'm very impressed. I've read Van Richten's Guide to Fiends as well and I must say the author did a good job portraying the feel of Ravenloft.

Do you know of Ravenloft? Have you heard anything of it? Please tell me of your experiences with it.

I played through Ravenloft back in the 80's! The main vampire they created was a wonderful antagonist! The details are a bit blurry, but I would say its definitely worth pursuing!

Care to post any links for downloadable ravenloft materials, rak?
Forgotten Realms is all nice and cool but one can only take so much Drizzt and Elminster.

I remember a Ravenloft game I played where the whole party becomes little dolls. It's pretty cool having like 10 HP, dealing 1 damage, and having a THAC0 of 18. (It's amazing I can still remember that to this day.) It was an awesome advendure.

Yeah I played Ravenloft once like five years back or so. I think my friend had bought a campaign. Well, anyways, I was a MC fighter Mage at around level 12. Well, IIRC, in the end (that is when I died) I was like level 6. Anyways, it was a pretty cool adventure as far as I remember. One of the PCs died pretty early so there was some note-swapping between the DM and him and he turned out to be a vampire. And since we were to fight the main dude from Ravenloft Count something (starts with an S, I think), we all died near the end of the campaign coz we were all pretty low level. Well, anyways the rest of our party died when we finally met that dude. Unfortunately we didn't even get to fight since it took him one spell to kill us all. It was a nasty Blood to Dust spell. I remember my character had lke -4 HP (the luckiest from the lot) but unfortunately no one to heal him. Well, that'sa all I remember from Ravenloft. I know there's some books about it and a game (EoB style)

Hmmm, I just thought about this. Strahd, a vampire something casting blood to dust. Sounds kinda weird doesn't it.
