High Sorceress Izbelah, Dragon's Eye entrance

High Sorceress Izbelah died outside the entrance, and now it wont let me inside dragons eye, and my latest saves are after her death, does anyone know how to sort it out so i can get inside?

She's a game critical character so no, you can't. Not easily anyway.

Don't you have an autosave from the previous chapter? The game saves for you at each chapter start and the fight with her isn't all that far into the chapter. A bit, yes, but not horribly much.

I think that happened to me, and I had to reload. I'm quite liberal with my saves, so it wasn't as big a deal for me.

The only alternative I can think of is to use the console to cheat her back in, but I have no idea if that would work as it isn't easy to reproduce that incident.

I think you can use Dalekeeper 2 to search for Izbelah's creature code, but the games are installed on Windows 98 and I have XP booted on my old system, so I can't verify this at the moment without closing everything and rebooting.

The createcreature command isn't implemented in IWD2, I discovered last year. Nobody has a confirmed report of being able to create enemies using console commands, and I tried for days myself. Quite a shocker that it was always assumed to be working all these years!

But that's just lousy: Izbelah should be impossible to kill. I guess the game designers did a poor job of coding her.
