Act selection

Coming back to NWN2 after almost two years. I never finished the game and would like to start in act 2, any ideas how? I don't want to play though the first half the game AGAIN

I thought you could start in the later chapters once you had progressed to that point in the game, although I might be confusing this with NWN1. If you had uninstalled the game and have just now reinstalled it, you may be S.O.L. and have to
start at the very beginning (a very good place to start).

NWN had the whole Acts choices one you progressed past them once.
But not so NWN2.

I'm afraid you'll have to play from the start. I know that the OC drags a bit.

I guess it's just the intro fair that you can skip.

Still, the Harvest Cup and the Harvest Cloak are useful items in the beginning, although the Cloak is less useful if you aren't playing a Bard, Sorcerer, or Warlock.

Still, it is useful, as NWN2 has the same thing where talking skills such as Bluff, Intimidate, and Diplomacy are only useful and usable by the PC (although I believe bluff can be used in combat).

In NWN1, you could enter a few values in one of the ini files that would allow you to pick whichever chapter you wanted. I don't know if something like that exists for NWN2 as well, though.
