Over the past few days/weeks the site has been getting slower and slower for me. Typically the pages don't finish loading until I get a Windows 7 message saying that the site is running a long running script and "Do I want to cancel it". When I do cancel it the square ads at the bottom of the page pop up and then the page is usable.

I believe this is happening on both my work and home machines, but I haven't been in the office since Wednesday so I can't confirm.

    Anyone else having this problem?

That's odd... I haven't changed anything site-wise. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes. I think it's the same script from before that seemed to only affect IE. I basically have to cancel the script all the time by pressing ESC or the X button.

It's some script after the Google +1 and before the Facebook Like icons appear.

It's definitely IE. I have Chrome and IE on both work and home computers, and the long running script thing happens only when I access the site on IE, never on Chrome.

Same problem here. I have the problem with my work laptop (both at work and when I have it a home like now) and on my home computer. Both use IE.

I've taken out the Facebook button (on the dark styles) - let me know if it helped.

OK, I'm going to replace it with a static FB button instead.

Must be all the data gathering from the NSA taking up the bandwidth.

I've been getting something similar with Firefox.

    Here is what it said.:

I use Firefox and never got that... that's due to the Arrowchat plugin. Anyone else getting that?
