    Hello,

I am currently in the Underdark, have Aladon's eggs, and have essentially wiped out all residents of Ust Natha.

I've been looking for the light gem I lost everywhere and cannot seem to find it...perhaps I stupidly sold it to a merchant I later killed? Is that possible, or is it surely lying around in the Underdark somewhere?

If there is no hope for me to find it, can anyone assist me in finding another method? I read a while ago in the forums that someone used a CLUA Console? I tried to edit a baldur.ini file, but access was denied....I'm not very technologically advanced.

    Thank you for any assistance,
    A First-Time Baldur's Gate Player

Just download shadowkeeper on this site, its a save game editor, you can just put it in your inventory but if you have the steam version shadowkeeper doesn't work, you will just have to leave without being teleported to the exit located in the Kabi-tao caves.

These two links have everything you need to use the console to find the code yourself, and the benefit of having you do the work of finding the code is that if you ever make a similar mistake with a different item, you can solve it yourself in about a minute instead of waiting for one of us to reply.
First, this explains how to cheat in an item using the console:

This has the list of items codes you need:

I believe that light gem can not be sold and will never disapear.

More than likely you received an item from an NPC and your inventory was full and so it was dropped on the ground wherever you were standing and you did not realize it. THis makes it very hard to find of course though you could use the hot key to outline all items on the ground...

On second thought just use keeper or the summon item code it would be a LOT faster and this is one where even the hard core guys would find acceptable to use it.
