It has been around 15 years since my D&D group broke up, but I thought I remembered something about the Drow spell resistance being bypassed by spells cast by other Drow. It is part of why priestess are so powerful in their society. I'm not just talking about friendly spells, by hostile ones as well in Drow vs Drow combat.
Am I remembering wrong? If not, I'm surprised that Viconia wasn't given this ability. |

I think Priestesses are powerful because Drow society is a matriarchy centred around worship of Lolth.
I don't think they can breach each other's immunity, that is a very special power indeed. |

I thought it was similar to how creatures with special immunizes to damage like Lycanthropes can ignore those immunities when fighting their own kind.
