Editing character attributes

Hey folks

Yet another question:
This is my third time playing the game. i had saved my "save points" in the hope that there would be a sequel and i would be able to import my characters as can be done in baldurs gate etc.

I'm currently downloading several save game editors from this site - which gives the best results (least crashes)

I've never had any issues with the command-line version of TormentHack, but it's also the most impractical to use.

Do you have the 2 or 4 CD version of the game? I don't know if they work on the 2 CD version since it came out long after the editors were made.

I've been steadily using Near Infinity for all Infinity Engine games, and none of them ever gave me any problem.

Well, I know that TormentHack and the TeamBG editors on SP work for the 4 CD version, since I've tested them myself. But I also remember that one of the two TeamBG versions (I don't remember which) corrupted my savegame at some point, so NEVER edit anything without making a backup copy first.

Really? I've never been able to open up Torment .GAM files with NI. DLTCEP's always worked for me, though, and I recommend using that AFTER backing up your save. It's easy to mess up your game with DLTCEP if you don't know what you're doing.
