Well how do people think POR2 will compare with NWN? In my humble opinion POR2 will be the better single player and NWN will be hands down the better multiplayer game, how can it be anything else. If nothing else it will be interesting to see which game has the better interperation of third edition rules. In the end i think there will be room for both games, I know I will be buying both.

Class wise, POR2 will have some missing, as well as races where as NWN will have your full selection. Although, I'm not sure NWN will support a "true" class system of mixing any class with another (ie - Monk/Sorcerer/Barbarian) as the true 3e rules support. I could see them scrapping that idea because "it's too much work".

And game companies wonder why the public still whine and complain for a real game.

I heard they would not be including wizards in POR 2, i think because the number of spells available in the game was so few that Sorcerers were by far the stronger class as copared to wizards. Oh i heard they would not be including dual weapon wielding can any confirm or deny this? Well as long as Sorcerer/Barbarian are allowed i dont mind to much.

Dual-wielding is in fact not in the game. As for missing races / classes.... gnomes are missing and druids, wizards, bards are also missing. Wizards were left out for a few reasons. To touch on a couple 1) The spell system used in por2 does not rely on memorization. Meaning, sorcerers, rangers, paladins, clerics all regain their full selection of spells by resting and there is no need for spell memorization. 2) In an effort by WOTC to get more people to try out the 3E sorcerer, wizards were left out of PoR2.
