Will there be Class Kit's in NWN? Such as equivalent Kits for the BG2 Berserker, Swashbuckler, Cavalier etc?
Also, will there be any Prestige Classes? Ones that you can turn your Char' into while retaining your Class abilities?Such the AD&D Shadow Dancer, BlackGuard and Loremaster? |

I don't know about prestige classes, but their aren't any 'kits' like in BG2. All such 'kits' were (thankfully) removed in 3rd edition D&D. That being said, there are pre-made packages you can choose when creating your character. These aren't the same as the kits - they're just pre-selected skills and feats so you don't have to determine all of that up front, and don't include the 'special' abilities of the kits. Basically, after choosing your class and race, you can tell the game to 'recommend' a package for you, and it will select your skills, feats and basic equipment for you. As you level up, you can do it yourself, or continue to ask the system to recommend something for you. I didn't use a package for my first character, so I can't comment on them more than that.

I am afraid that there are no kits available? I would love to become Arcane Archer. The difference with the BG-kits is that you can become Arcane Archer only at level 10 or higher, so I don't think it is in the game. Maybe Bioware comes with an update with kits later.

Kits don't exist in 3e... Though BioWare has said that in the inevitable expansion(s), they will look into prestige classes... (Which are more or less kits for 3rd edition D&D).

Hehe, I've got NWN now, and i see what you mean by 'Packages', choosing your skills/feats for you.
And I did mean Prestige Classes, not kits.
