Buying a new grill this weekend. The bottom on the grill I current;y have has almost completely rusted out. Its charcoal of course, only way to go.
This is not the exact model, but its pretty close for all you grilling enthusuasts out there! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/detai...09_500X500.jpg [ August 05, 2003, 21:13: Message edited by: Taluntain ] |

Beef and grill. Yammy.
Can almost smell the it... Actually, I can; my neighbor is grilling... On the other hand, I have heard that grilled meat can potentially cause cancer... The blacker the meat, the bigger the potential -or something like that.

No no, you should all grill an Entrecôte as soon as you could. Delicous, specially if it's blood inside

Hmmm. That looks more like a smoker than a grill. I really like my natural gas grill, it's as easy as can be.

Elios, you do have the chimney starter for your natural lump hardwood charcoal, right?

We had a barbarque party here on friday... i admit, I ate WAY too much. But it was worth it. There are still loads of leftovers, but we ran out of soda TWICE.

Here's the one I have my eye on for my lovely new backyard, but I have a feeling that we're going to end up with something much more traditional. Velcro is skeptical about letting me barbecue our Thanksgiving turkey; I can't imagine why...

It is both a smoker and a grill. You place tghe charcoal in the side barrel. You can either cook directly over the charcoal or indirectly in the bigger chamber. You can also place charcoal in the bigger chamber. I actually don't use stand briquettes any more. Hardwood charcoal is the only way to go. Mesquite! You can also use this as a smoker! Propane? Gas Grill? No offense to anyone, but why not just move your stove outside then? lol
And yes, I do have a chimmney to start the coals. Lighter fluid adds such a crappy taste to the food. If you're going to have a good grill, go all the way. By the way, Rally, nice grill! |

Oh, yeah; just remembered that it was the smoke that could cause cancer. Since the meat gets the blacker the more "smoked" it is, the bigger the potential. Or so that study tried to prove...
Wouldn't stop me from eating grilled food. *Drools* |
