I'm guessing you'd need access to SK or something that shows you the spell names and their resource/value, e.g. SPPR417 would give you (hopefully) Lesser Restoration.
BTW, I'm thinking that in order for AddSpell to work, you have to be a spell caster in the first place. |

Or you could just cheat even more and go
AddSpell("wizard") or AddSpell("cleric") IIRC. If it's not that exact wording it's something similar. EDIT: Actually I think that only works in IWD2 unfortunately. |

CLUAConsole: AddSpell ("SPxx###") and make sure the mouse cursor is on whichever character is to learn the spell. And yes, you'd need something like SK to get reference numbers.
Example. CLUAConsole: AddSpell ("SPWI112") This would add Magic Missile to whoever the cursor is on. You can add any spell to anyone, but it won't be memorized, so a mage cannot simply add a cleric spell and cast it, and a fighter couldn't even access a spell list. Innate abilities, however, are memorized immediately, and any character can learn any innate ability. [ March 23, 2004, 01:54: Message edited by: Davaeorn ] |

Why SK?
IESDP has the filenames for all spells in the game. |

See, it would help is I knew what IESDP was.
Edit: I didn't say you *need* SK, I said something *like* it. But I figure that most people that dabble even the slightest bit in modding have SK. |

Lo folks,
Just a note, the IESDP doesnt contain every single spell in the game, but it does contain all the castable spells you can legally get. And they are split into mage/cleric, by level, and it also includes High Level abilities and kit abilities. |
