Hola, I am currently in the Maze, also known as The Watcher's Keep lvl. 3 .. and I really need some help. First off, BGI & II are my first experiences with anything AD&D related so my knowledge of creatures is limited at best.
So, with that out of the way, I'm basically stuck and don't know what to do. I have not a clue how to go about hurting/killing a it Fiend and/or the other demons in the lvl required [I assume] to get the pieces together to get out of the lvl. So, how do you guys go about killing the various demons in the level? I'd totally appreciate some help, and thank you. |

What weapons work best? I ask because, at least for the Pit Fiend and the higher level demons all my weapons basically don't work. Are there certian weapons that work only, certian level of enchantment, etc?
Thank ya. |

I would guess it's the enchantment level only since my people have many different weapons and they all seemed to work. I think the minimum I had at this point was +3.

You need to have your mage(s) cast spells to remove the Demon's protections. The best (in my opinion) is the Warding Whip. It removes one protection spell every round (or so). There are several others, including breach, ruby ray of reversal (removes highest level protection) and spell strike (9th level spell I think, removes all protections).
Once the protections are removed, you should then be able to hit them. I would also recommend protection from evil, 10' radius, if you have a cleric. |
