Does Sword & Shield style give you the AC bonus when using a sling & shield?

When using a bow +1 ie and arrows +2, do they add up giving a +3, or how does it count?

AFAIK, S&S style works with a shield; you add the -2 to vs. missiles.

Short Bow +1 shooting arrows +2 gives a +3 to hit (THAC0).

Yeah what she said about Sword and Shield style, it's just a generic name for it. Wouldn't it be cooler to have '' Any weapon that may fit in one and / or be used with a Shield and Shield Style ''

No it won't, but only because it's a missile weapon. Any melee weapon works fine, but if you've got a missile weapon equipped the weapon styles don't give you anything. I noticed the difference recently when switching back and forth. Weapons that can be either melee or missile (like a throwing axe) are dependant on which mode is selected.
