Edwin and the Nether scroll

how long does it take edwin to solve the scroll? after i killed the lich, i really never saw the scroll. is it an item that should appear in your inventory?

The scroll doesn't appear in your inventory - it takes about twenty IG days, IIRC, to get the fun started

Edwin even tells you that the scroll is his possession and you won't be able to even look at it.

Edwin also updates you from time to time as he gradually translates the scroll. So results aren't immediate, but he'll tell you about his progress just so you don't worry.

strangely, if you tell him that the scroll should be teh party's nothing comes out of the scrolls, only if you answered using the other choice you'd be able to get the results, and I think the results first happen 5 game days later.

It's a bug. I believe the SP Fixpack remedies it.
