Please post here even if you are playing only the SoA part of the game, but have ToB installed. A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having!

My friend has a Mac, and is interested in installing BG2 because he and I want to code a game. Basically, it will be a huge add-on that doesn't have much to do with BG2 itself (I guess like DD). Would he be able to install and mod on a Mac?

You'd have to find a set of discs that are Mac compatible. Check ebay - I saw BG2 SoA and ToB for sale a few minutes ago.

But if he wrote a mod on the mac, it should be fine to work on a pc because it is all the same writing, right?
