Unexplained crash... help please!

I'm playing a solo Monk, and I just finished the Planar Prison quest, rejecting Haer'Dalis's offer to join. When I get transported back to the Five Flagons Inn, the game closes itself just as Haer'Dalis begins a speech of some sort. Does anyone know what causes this, and how I can avoid it (short of skipping the quest)?

The mods I have installed are:
Dungeon-be-gone
Kelsey
Item Upgrade Mod

I'm pretty sure that's all of them, and I installed them all after the official ToB patch and the Baldurdash ToB fixpack. Far as I know, these shouldn't have any compatability issues.

Any and all help is appreciated, especially if it's fast.

That's probable because your haerda.dlg file is corrupted or something (I'm not sure though), which you can get somewhere (I can mail it to you if you want). Though another "solution" is just to enable the cheat console and Crtl+Y him before he can even open his mouth (

), if you don't need him anymore, that is.

The game chrashes sometimes for me too, although it does it at random spots. Just reload and try other things, like pausing before he talks to you and fake talk him or sumthin

Does the area load okay? Or is it just Haer'Dalis who crashes the game when he talks?

Thanks for the suggestions guys... the problem solved itself on the third reload or so. I'd had the game turned off for a while, and the next time I loaded, it worked perfectly. Hmm...
