Before you finish the final battle: suggestion

As many of you probably already know from the Throne of Bhaal board, I had problems with the transition between Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal after the final battle because of a bug that is fixed by the patch. Basically, my character didn't move to the Throne of Bhaal starting map when the rest of my party did, but remained stuck in the last Shadows of Amn map. It sounds like other people had this problem too. I did eventually work around it after loading the patch (details on the ToB board for anyone who also has this problem), but for anyone who wants to play ToB later and has not yet finished the final battle of Shadows of Amn, I'd like to suggest that you may want to hold off on the last battle of the game until you have installed BOTH ToB and its patch. It would have saved me a lot of irritation, and you may find the transition to the expansion more seamless that way.

I hope no one objects to me posting this on this board- I did so because I thought this would only really be helpful for those who hadn't got to ToB yet.
