Stuck In Watchers Keep

I am having a few problems in watchers keep, on the second floor I can only find 2 of the scepters, i would welcome any form of help.

My guess is you have the air and poison scepters and need the ice and fire. Please give a little more information next time and we can help out better

Ok leave the fan running and open the doors to the poison lab and use the poison scepter to unlock and open the door that is directly opposite the door to the poison lab on the other side of the green library room, now the fan should blow the poison into the newly opened ice room, weakining the enemies within. Hope this gets you back on track.

Where is the fan? Does is start automatically?

(Air room) NW

The fan is in the NW room (Air Elem. room). Kill all the elementals and then turn on the fan full-blast. Then open the NE door of the fan room and go through the passage and open the NE door of the poison room.

(Poison room) SE

This will allow the fan to blow all the poison gas out of the poison room and into the adjoining passage to the South. Go in and kill all the poison room baddies. The poison sceptre is on the big baddie there.
Carefully make your way through the edge of the South passage (hug walls to avoid poison cloud).

(Ice room) South

Open the SE door of the Ice room. There are some ice golems in there. Use fire (no big deal). Kill them and one of them has the ice sceptre on him. Exit the SW door.

(Fire room) West

Here's the tricky part. Unless you dispatch the fire elementals the fire giants will regenerate over and over. Lore the fire elementals to the ice room. They will freeze and will not return. Now the fire giants are vulnerable. Use whatever you want to kill them. If you're a cautious player, use cold based missile damage. One of the fire giants has the fire sceptre.

if you read the notes left behind by the mages, you'd know what Immoral just said...

anyway...

after you put in the 4 sceptres..

the notes still apply... the chromatic demon changes shape oftenly.. but each form is as vulnerable to the element it is in as compared to the minions of each wizard..

so if its in in ice form, use fire, fire, use frost weapons, air use poison, and slime use electricity...

Ok, just one slight problem, i appear to have lost all my keys. So i cant open the doors, sort of ruined my chances of completing it now,

If you dropped them somewhere, just take a look round the level holding down tab. That should help you find them.

ok, ill try that, the main problem being that i dont actually remember dropping them, and i dont think i did. Oh well, if the worst happens i guess ill just start watchers keep again.

Have you looked in your bag of holding?

Maybe try looking under the sofa, that seems to be where I find all lost things in my house.

if all else fails, TAB, checking ur bags, then Id suggest you use the console to re-create those sceptres... i dont exactly know how you can restart the quest at this point...

K, I am against cheating but if that is the only option availible to me, then i just might have to do it. Oh, and the bag of holding thing, i havent got one yet, as in SOA at the moment and am trying it at level 9.

How hard is the fight with that thing? I hope it gives a lot of exp, caue thats all im afer in watcher's keep

well, i got past that level, turns out that...stupid me... i thought it meant the rods you get.(waits for laughter) When i finally realised my mistake it was simple from then on. I am now on the third floor and doing ace, i am just stuck at the bit with all the wild mage quasits. Funny as they are, they are also hard as nails to kill...especially when yer a squirrel. (stupid polymorph)
