How to use Cernd?

I read somewhere about the dialogue between Minsc and Cernd, finding it kind of funny, so I want to form a party which include both of them in the future. My party always consist of Minsc, Keldorn,Sarevok, Jan, Viconia or Edwin. So one of them will be replaced by my main character(according to the job like warrior to warrior). Cernd will most likely replaces Viconia. For those who uses Cernd alot, how do you use him and who are your party npcs that you use with him?

You should get the Ease of Use mod which makes Cernd just kickass.

He has the most kills in my ToB party by the end, and I have both Minsc and Mazzy.

Cernd is the only pure druid NPC you can get in the game (as opposed to Jaheira, who is multi-classed). As such, Cernd kicks major hiney once he hits his stride. I know a lot of people use his shapeshifting ability to great effect, though as was mentioned earlier, the Ease of Use mod is vital if you intend to have Cernd shapeshift and then use him as a melee fighter. I myself use him as a ranged backup melee fighter once his offensive spells have been exhausted -- his abilities as a healer are also cool, and each time he shapeshifts he heals himself a little as well, which is a bonus. That's the early stages of the game, however.
Once Cernd hits ToB and starts getting boola spells, I use him as a primary spellcaster -- Insect Plagues, energy disks, summoned Elemental Lords, Ironskins, the joy just goes on and on -- I'm particularily fond of the energy disks. The Greater Werewolf shapeshift is also nice even without the mod, and the Elemental transformation whomps all over!
There's also one of the Dragon scale armors that for some reason he can wear, and with some of the scimitars and staves available later on, Cernd is a powerhouse. I like having him in my party.

Ther is one more thing that I still don't know. Will the weapon bonus be applied when Cernd shapeshifted into werewolf?
By the way, I will not be playing with the mod.

Yes, they will. I.E if you have the celestial fury equipped, you will still have ability to stun an opponent. And also get the 20 points of extra damage...

AFAIK, Cernd can't use the CF.

It was just an example. Used because everyone knows about CF's stunnig ability...
