Problem with running ToB

Somebody please help me!!!!!
Yesterday i installed my copy of ToB. The installation was successful but when i run the game, i am able to see the introduction movies, but not to start the game. The hand (the cursor in BG) does not move but the music plays correctly....moreover there are some small problems with the graphic: when the hand moves for a few seconds (before stopping..) it moves part of the paintings she's passing upon......
Does anyone have an idea what to do????

PS: i have windows '98....

Maybe its the color you're using. is it 256 colors? Or maybe 16 colors? Who knows? It works best with 24/32 bite color. Also, If you go into configuration, try changing it to window screen and see if your mouse can move out of the ToB window. It's not much but that's all that I can think of. Oh yeah, maybe there is a scratch on you're CD.

I've solved the problem....i changed the configuration of the video...it was probably a conflict with my video card....thanks anyway.....
