Ascension and all, advice needed.

I was first thinking of going for a solo this who knows how manieth time for the game. But since I read of the Tashia mod, I thought I could always welcome a new romance. So now I have me (f/m/t), Tashia, and I'm going to get Imoen and Sarevok in ToB.

Questions are:

1) Ascension is supposed to make things real hard right? So how hard/impossible is it to play all the way to the Spellhold with just one fighter/mage/thief and one sorceress? How possible from there to the beginning of ToB with an addition of a mage? And how possible to wade through ToB with but the addition of a Sarevok?

2) I have Imoen Romance, Tashia Romance, Ascension (WeiDU), X-Cap remover (ToB) and Expanded Thief Stronghold installed. How well am I to expect these all to work together?

3) The ToB X-Cap remover is supposed to work in "ToB only". Since I have all of the extra-levels gained in ToB available already in SoA as a basic feature, does this mean that I will run into the normal ToB-cap in SoA, and once I advance to ToB itself, I get the maximum levels to 40?

4) Anything else that is "good to know" about these mods etc?

Solo + Tashia should be easy even up to chapter 7.

All I can say is that Ascension is challenging enough for a six member party. Good luck with just one or two party members.

Especially where a sorcerer is concerned, cause once spell defences drop, and they will, he or she is going to get turned into chop suey.
