In some areas the monsters that spawn are easier or tougher based on your level. Is it just the PC's level that counts? This seems to be.
I am doing BG1 right now using Tutu to use the BG2 engine. I made my PC a triple-class so his levels are low compared to the NPC's in the party. I am using a mini-party of the PC plus three NPC's. So the NPC's are at a higher level than normal for the areas I am in (I think). But the PC's levels are lower than normal. I seem to be getting all weak monsters which is a little boring. I have the difficulty slider moved up to 'hard' but that does not seem to count for what types of monsters spawn. For instance, outside the Cloakwood mines, I expected to see groups of Black Talon archers, but I am getting Tolsi instead. This could be the fault of Tutu but the general question is still valid: normally based on PC or party? |

It's the average of the party.

Hmmmmmm ... Is there a 'bug' maybe? The game always divides by 6 to get the party average? Since I only have 4 in my party that would make the average low. My party should be above average for where I am at.
